I work with various burs, files and customized tools to carve wax models by hand.  For many rings, like those requiring pattern repetition or precise lettering I use a small computer driven wax carving mill.  This allows me to work with detailed graphics and offer a variety of fonts for carving on the outside of rings as well as inscriptions. There is great flexibility in combining the capabilities of computer graphics run on the mill with hand carving and detailing of the resulting waxes.
