Corporacion Oro-Verde	We are the only company in the U.S. using Certified Green Gold and Platinum. Sustainably mined and fairly traded in the Choco region of Columbia, we import these raw materials directlyfrom Corporacion Oro-Verde. We are also using 100% recycled gold, platinum and sterling silver from US refiner Hoover & Strong

Besides working exclusively with certified conflict free diamonds and Canadian Goose diamonds, we are excited to offer our gold and platinum jewelry made from sustainably and responsibly mined as well as 100% recycled precious metals.
For us this means taking another step in support of protecting our environment. 

We are buying pure gold from Green Gold - Oro Verde Corporacion, through the auspices of the Association of Responsible Miners (ARM) and alloying it ourselves to be used in casting or to prepare it for rolling into sheet and wire for fabrication. We are purchasing our alloys from Precious Metals West, an innovator in green technology in the precious metal industry that exceeds all current clean business requirements. PM West is also at the forefront in developing new alloys -offering new working properties and color ranges to jewelry makers.
There is such a growing desire among our customers for green products that Oro Verde has not been able to supply all we need. To this end,we have recently added Hoover and Strong, one of the largest US refiners and suppliers to jewelers to our supply source list. They have made 100% recycled gold, platinum and silver mill products and casting grain available by request and we are happily requesting! It's a green/green situation for everyone.

Green Gold, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of sustainable communities and ecosystems within the Choco bioregion (located on the Pacific coast of Columbia, it also includes parts of Equador and Panama) through a strategic alliance with the collective territories of Afro-Colombian communities of Tado and Condoto, the foundation Las Mojarras and the foundation Amigos del Choco. The population of Choco is made up of descendents of African slaves, indigenous tribes and Mestizo people. The miners, including this mix of the population, utilize earth friendly mining techniques, and are paid fair wages. Besides mining for gold, they are also discovering and mining the platinum they find.
